Gamma is making a planned £5m investment in its national network to meet growing demand for its data services and to meet the increasing demand for speeds of up to 10Gbit/s from larger enterprises and the public sector. As part of this investment the company is also taking the opportunity to replace the fibre on its national network with a new arrangement with CityFibre which runs to 2042. The new network will also reduce Gamma’s cost of delivery of data services in a highly competitive market and is readily scalable to 8Tbit/s*.
