What’s the quality like?

Reassuringly, our national, next-generation network is the product of millions of pounds of investment and has been designed specifically for business users. Geographically resilient, our network is ideal for businesses that need to prioritise time-critical and business-critical applications at all times, backed up by robust Service Level Agreements.

Why choose a provider that only offers business broadband?

You may be surprised to know that business broadband makes up only a small percentage of all broadband users. When a provider has a large percentage of residential users, that becomes the main focus of their attention. At Gamma we provide 100% focus on delivering quality broadband for businesses only.

Is your support team in the UK?

Faults do occasionally occur and when they do, especially for a business, you need to know that the people supporting the broadband are based in the UK, well trained and understand the importance of quick and effective resolution. We pride ourselves on the fact you can always get through to our support team first time when you need to.

Can we easily move our existing broadband circuits over to Gamma?

Over time we’ve seen faster broadband speeds becoming more widely available and organisations are now much more aware of what does and doesn’t represent good service – whether it’s the way their broadband is performing or the level of service support they receive when issues arise. We’re experts in managing large and small-scale migrations and we work closely with you through every step of the migration process and beyond. It’s one of our real differentiators.

When is the right time to move broadband circuits?

Broadband is a utility service, essential for internal and external communications. If you’re currently in a situation where you dread a fault occurring because of the poor service you know you’ll receive, then the answer to the question is clearly, “as soon as possible”. We will enhance your reputation by providing high-quality, well-trained, UK-based support staff and a well-managed network and we’ll give you back the time you currently waste chasing faults.

Will we save money?

As we can supply all your voice, data and mobile services, you can reduce your supply chain overhead and benefit from having just one supplier, one bill and a single point of contact.

How does Gamma ensure quality?

Our network was conceived and engineered specifically for business users. This means that at peak times your time-critical and business-critical applications will always be prioritised. Quality is assured through:

  • Extensive monitoring of all elements and metrics within the call path both TDM and IP including but not limited to, Post Dial Delay (PDD), Answer to Seize Ratio (ASR), Network Efficiency Ratio (NER), Mean Opinion Score (MOS), Perceptual Analysis of Speech Quality (PESQ) Score, Call Closure and Error codes for C7 and SIP signalling, Jitter, Latency, Packet Loss, Trunk and Circuit occupancy, uptime and trends
  • Proactive call testing and analysis for all platforms and services
  • Appropriate and timely alerts of potential issues and ‘hot spots’ to our 24×7 Network Operations Centre
  • Review of external and internal reports including customer feedback via support desks
  • Strict Change Control and Release Management process aligned with our suppliers and carrier partners to prevent related quality or service issues
  • Oversight through a monthly Quality Steering Group meeting chaired by our CEO that includes input output from our regular Platform Service Reviews, Capacity Management, Information Security and Business Continuity forums
