Exclusive hot deals

Here’s our latest hot deals for both you and your customers. Find out about our free SIP set-up and inclusive Horizon softclient offers, along with details of our Ethernet services and a reminder of the Government Gigabit Voucher Scheme.

Hot deals for you

Free SIP set-up and number porting for any new 3 year SIP Trunk connections.

Gamma SIP Trunks connect your customers’ businesses with our nationwide network and provides a more flexible and lower cost alternative to ISDN for inbound and outbound voice calls. And, for a limited only, we’re offering you free SIP set-up and number porting with any new 3 year contract*. Here are the key benefits of Gamma SIP:

Line and PBX estate rationalisation
ISDN line rationalisation options and they are the ideal way to reduce the number of PBXs that require maintaining, whilst your customer retains full control of the numbers associated with their business.

Number flexibility
Gamma SIP Trunks support business relocation by enabling a geographic number to be kept without incurring any ongoing call forwarding costs. This not only ensures continuity of business, it also reduces the cost impact associated with having to change company stationery, directory entries and advertisements. We can also supply SIP trunking with out-of-area geographic number ranges.

Business-grade voice and data convergence
With Gamma SIP Trunks delivered over Gamma Broadband or Gamma Ethernet, your customers can have a high-quality voice and data service from just one connection and they’ll make significant cost savings.

Business continuity as standard
Businesses of all sizes need a business continuity plan for their  telephony. Our SIP trunks, when combined with our Inbound service, means your customers’ callers can always get through. Simply divert published numbers to backup locations or mobile phone – instantly and from anywhere.

Free UK calls, mobile calls and fraud protection
Our SIP trunking service provides free call termination to UK fixed destinations, including 01, 02 and 03 number ranges, as well as mobile calls, allowing you to focus on the service benefits rather than a straight pricing discussion. If you prefer it, you can set the price your customer pays, creating a uniquely-differentiated proposition, which gives you a massive edge. SIP also provides free internal calls between connected sites, including international.

Find out how you can help your customers move away from traditional telecoms by introducing them to next-gen technology.

To take advantage of this offer or if you would like more information, please contact the team on 0333 014 0444.

*Based on £9.99 per channel inclusive of 01/02/03 calls. Free porting is to the value of £135 (equivalent to a DDI number port). All subsequent ports, additional porting charges for OOH porting are to be charge as normal. All standard T&C’s apply.

choose whether you want to use soft clients, or have premium handsets for your hosted phone system

Benefit from inclusive softclient with all new Horizon licences.

Horizon, our cloud-based phone service, provides an extensive range of fixed and mobile telephony capabilities via an easy-to-use web portal.

It offers lots of clever business-focused features with an emphasis on control and administration through the web that takes the burden away from your customer’s IT team. Local administrators manage and configure the system according to the organisation’s needs. Employees can then manage their calls easily and effectively, thereby maximising individual productivity.

For a limited time only, we’re offering a free softclient** with all new Horizon licences. For more details, give us a call today.

**All Horizon licenses will include a FOC softclient based on a minimum 3 year term. Free license will be for either the mobile softclient or desktop softclient. If the qualifying customer wishes to have both softclient licenses, only 1 license will be FOC with the other charged in full. Offer is available until 30th September 2018. All other standard T&C’s apply.

Hot deals for your customer

Let your customers experience the benefits of superfast connectivity.

As more services move into the cloud, the need for quality internet connectivity has become essential for businesses. Here are the details of our three Ethernet service options available, all of which will provide ultra-fast, highly reliable and uncontended data connectivity to your customers sites.

Fibre Ethernet

This service is delivered using end-to-end fibre optic connections and provides a dedicated, secure platform for voice and data traffic. Ideal if you are looking to converge voice and data on a single connection:

  • Highly-reliable, secure and fast data connectivity
  • Options for services over either 100Mbps or 1Gbps circuits
  • Symmetric speeds from <10Mbps to 1Gbps
  • Scalable and flexible
  • 24/7 UK-based support with six-hour fix time SLA

Ethernet in the First Mile

Our Ethernet in the First Mile (EFM) service is a converged internet and voice solution delivered over aggregated copper pairs with dedicated and symmetrical speeds of up to 35Mbps:

  • Lower cost option to Fibre Ethernet
  • Much faster delivery time then Fibre Ethernet
  • No compromise on quality or service levels
  • Inherently resilient and reliable service with eight-hour break fix time
  • 24/7 monitoring with UK-based helpdesk

FTTC Ethernet

This service is delivered using Fibre To The Cabinet
(FTTC) technology:

  • Fast, reliable access at a lower cost level than EFM
  • Symmetric speeds of up to 20Mbps with the option to purchase up to 80Mbps downstream
  • Faster delivery lead times than Fibre Ethernet and EFM services
  • Reliable service with eight-hour break fix time
  • 24/7 monitoring with UK-based helpdesk

Learn more about upsell and cross-sell opportunities with Gamma services and watch our new 60 second Horizon video.

Upsell and cross-sell – Are you maximising the opportunities from your existing customer base?

One of the most difficult challenges in business is to capture a new customer, so once you have done the hard work it is essential to maximise what you sell to that customer. As many businesses are under pressure to achieve more with less, they are streamlining their list of suppliers. Whilst this may seem limiting it is actually a prime opportunity for you to provide additional services to your customer, enhancing their business and increasing your share of their spend.

Gaining new customers is an inevitable goal for any business, however it is important to remember that generating new sales is expensive compared to the cost of selling to an existing customer. This existing customer base already knows the value of your service and if you’ve done a good job they recommend you to others and ultimately will buy and
pay more.

To help with your upsell and cross-sell plans here are some easy to implement tips for our products.

Upsell – easy wins to increase commission

Data Services
For Ethernet and CPN customers, you can monitor their usage using the Highlight tool. If the customer is close to hitting or nearing the bandwidth limit, you can advise an upgrade using the graph feature, clearly demonstrating their need for more bandwidth to support their business. This tool can also assist when negotiating with the customer to extend their contract.

Don’t forget the additional productivity-enhancing bolt-ons for Horizon – including CRM integration, soft-client, advanced call reporting and wall board integration – to increase your margin and contract stickiness. In addition, we still have the free handsets offer on Horizon, if you sell a customer Gamma access on a three-year term.

With a new look and feel portal and app (if you have not looked recently it’s not black and yellow anymore!), why not take some time to show the customer the updated portal and use that as a way of adding features like call queuing or advanced reporting, increasing the commission via that existing customer.

Cross-sell – two or more products are better than one

Gamma offers a number of cross-sell opportunities and initiatives to assist you in substantially increasing the potential commission from a single customer.

SIP Trunk Call Manager
If you have SIP Trunking customers on the Gamma network, and someone else provides the access, you can utilise our SIP Trunk Call Manager to encourage the customer to move to your Gamma provided access (the voice-enabled ones!), adding business continuity functionality to a basic SIP Trunk service. This works for new SIP Trunk accounts as well!

Cloud Backup free for 6 months
When you are looking to resign a customer on an Ethernet deal, for every new 3 year contract with Gamma Ethernet, you’ll receive a free server backup account for 6 months. Just more to differentiate your service and make the customer committed to you as a supplier.

For more details on all these initiatives and other promotions, to support your upselling and cross-selling plans, please contact the team.

Customer Conference 2018 highlights

In case you were unable to join us at our annual Customer Conference, here’s a summary of the day’s events:

Opening the conference, our Managing Director David Macfarlane talked us through the impact of technology changes in the industry and the need for businesses to embrace Digital Transformation to drive future growth. We were then joined by a panel of existing Gamma customers for a live Q+A on how they are already implementing digital strategies in their businesses and the lessons learned along the way.

Our audience experienced what it’s like to be a Dragon in a lively session watching our sponsors pitch their latest products with the hope of winning their Gamma dollars. Akixi presented their real-time analytics platform which allows businesses to monitor call performance and easily and quickly see the potential revenue they could be losing due to lost calls that they may not know about.

Semafone demonstrated several of their compliance-led products, including their award-winning service utilising AI technology, which allows users to send authorised secure payments to retailers via Alexa to keep end users safe from fraud and other solutions for GDPR and PCI DSS.

Highlight talked us through their site management platform allowing IT departments to monitor traffic volumes, network availability and voice quality.

In the afternoon, customers and partners chose from nine 30 minute stream sessions, covering a variety of industry hot topics and updates from the senior Gamma team including Millennials in the workplace, Ethernet Everywhere and Born Digital.

To close, Nancy Rademaker from Nexxworks wowed the audience with her presentation on Extreme Customer Centricity – giving everyone a different perspective on the ‘new normal’ and how to focus on the day after tomorrow in order to thrive in today’s
digital world.

It was a great day enjoyed by all. Next year’s conference will take place on Thursday 23rd May 2019. Save the date now to ensure you do not miss out.

If you’d like to find out more about the sessions and content from the event, please request a call back and one of the team will be in contact as soon as possible.
