Critical update for Zoho CRM users

Following a system upgrade announcement from Zoho, this month we are preparing to release the next version of the Horizon Integrator (3.1) to ensure that users can continue to work without interruption once the upgrade has taken place. For this reason all Horizon users that integrate with the Zoho CRM will need to upgrade to version 3.1 before the 1st January 2020.

The latest Horizon update will also allow users to integrate with CRM system AutomaaT GO.

Horizon Integrator

We’re about to make a number of critical updates to the software which underpins our Horizon service. Our update is aimed to enhance user experience and increase integration possibilities.

During the planning process, we have identified that versions 2.5 of the Horizon Integrator (and below) and TAPI Client version 2.6.10 will no longer be compatible with the new updated software.

We recommend that users upgrade to the latest versions of the clients, Integrator v3.0.13 and TAPI client v2.6.12, as soon as possible.

As of the 4th December, version 2.5 of Horizon Integrator and TAPI Client version 2.6 will no longer be supported and will cease to work from this date.

Good news! For any Horizon desktop client users who have experienced connectivity issues when using their home broadband provider, we have recently made changes to our port routing, which means users will now be able to access their desktop client without issue.

We’re pleased to announce that, as of November, the Cisco MPP6851 will become part of our handset portfolio. This device delivers reliable, business-grade audio, with Gigabit Ethernet integration and low power usage.

Speed dial update – * and # characters now permitted

A bug that prevented the use of the * and # characters on speed dial customisation service for the new range of devices has been resolved. Speed dials can now start with a * or # and then end in a #.

Receptionist and Contact Centre Client Updates

This month we will be updating our Horizon Receptionist and Contact Centre clients. This update will fix the need to reboot the client when attempting to access via a secondary connection.

Users will notice a slight difference in the look and feel of the log in page.

EMIS intergration

We’re pleased to announce that the next iteration of the Horizon Integrator has been released. The latest update includes enhancements of the EMIS pop-up function. If you are using the latest version, you will have received a prompt advising to update.
