Gamma Communications plc (“Gamma”), a leading technology-based provider of communication services, announced today it has deepened its interconnection with Microsoft’s applications with an enhancement to its Direct Routing proposition and a new PBX integration for Microsoft Teams.
With hybrid and remote working on the rise, Microsoft Teams has seen a substantial spike in popularity as an internal communications platform.
Building on the previously released Direct Routing for Microsoft Teams proposition, Gamma is expanding the solution to automate and simplify the provisioning experience with the launch of the Gamma Voice application. This removes any dependency on PowerShell experience and reduces the overall complexity of provisioning.
Gamma has also announced the launch of Horizon for Microsoft Teams, a bolt-on solution to Horizon bringing the features of Gamma’s leading business-grade cloud PBX within the Microsoft Teams environment.
The solution enables businesses to use Microsoft Teams as a Horizon endpoint to make and receive telephone calls leveraging Gamma’s Direct Routing capability.
This allows customers to take advantage of their existing Microsoft infrastructure with Horizon to support complex business voice requirements, all provisioned within the new Gamma Voice app.
This feature-rich solution is a cost-effective alternative to Microsoft Calling Plans, and includes advanced features such as Business Call Recording, Hunt Groups, and Auto Attendant.
