Attending events is important to us as a network operator because it gives our Partners and prospects the opportunity to meet the team, talk about the new products and services we’re developing and to understand more about what makes choosing Gamma such a great decision.
Date: Tuesday 11th – Wednesday 12th September 2018
Venue: NEC Birmingham, Stand 266
Gamma will be once again sponsor at this year’s Channel Live conference, the UK’s only ICT trade specific conference, exhibition, thought leadership and networking event rolled into one. Gamma will be showcasing our recently launched converged solution Connect. Connect bridges the fixed/mobile divide, allowing businesses to powerfully augment their telephony service and create a platform for future migration to an all-mobile environment. For the channel, Connect provides a differentiated proposition to take to market, allowing them to increase their margins from a single hosted voice or mobile sale to a joint hosted and mobile sale with expected long term contractual return.
Come and see us on stand 226 to speak with one of the Gamma team and see a live demo of Connect.
Date: Thursday 26th July 2018
Venue: Shoreditch Powerleagues
After the success of the 2017 tournament, we once again hosted the Gamma 5-a-side Charity Football Championship at Shoreditch Powerleagues. It was a great effort from all fourteen teams, who battled it out for victory in what ended up being one of the hottest days of the year.
Congratulations to Welcomm for winning the championship and to STL Communications for winning the plate.
Date: Thursday 7th June 2018
Venue: Hungerford Rugby Club
Now in its 5th year Gamma’s annual MTBorRoad event took place in Hungerford. 45 cyclists met at Hungerford Rugby Club for breakfast and a safety briefing fully energised for the cycle challenge ahead before heading out to see what Hungerford had to offer.
Due to the success of previous years Gamma continued with a road and a mountain bike course, a popular format as it provides much more variety for participants. There were four tracks in total, two routes for the road cyclists (38 and 61 miles) and two routes for the mountain bikers (24 mile and 30miles), with all groups having to tackle an ascent of at least 2000ft.
After a quick spot of lunch at the Crown Inn, Upton the groups were off again – with only some of them managing to escape the rain. The day finished back at the rugby club with a (much needed!) BBQ which provided a great opportunity for everyone to catch up.
Although this event offers a fun day out for Gamma’s Channel Partners and fellow cycling enthusiasts it’s also about raising money for Gamma’s nominated charities Action Through Enterprise, changing the lives of children and adults living in the poorest parts of Ghana and SpecialEffect, who put fun and inclusion back into the lives of people with physical disabilities by helping them to play video games.
