Strike a chord with our high-class audio

HD audio desk phones and soft clients are now becoming the norm, offering users a vastly improved experience. HD audio calls give you a sound quality that makes you feel as though you’re in the same room as your recipient, making conversations feel more fluid and vibrant. The difference is most telling during long duration conversations such as conference calls – It’s like switching from FM to digital radio!

Although HD audio is not new to Gamma, we have recently reengineered parts of our network to ensure users on Horizon Collaborate get a true HD audio experience wherever they are. Calls will now initiate at G722 and realise the full benefit of a practical acoustic bandwidth range of 50-7000 Hz. Existing and new customers with a soft client or HD-enabled phone can now experience the benefits of HD audio without needing to make any changes or updates. Simply sit back and enjoy crisp, clear communications.

Hardware update

It has been proven that upgraded hardware can seriously boost efficiency and we want to ensure that our customers have access to high-specification, high-quality equipment.

We have an important announcement regarding our handsets. As you will already be aware, we notified our customers last year that Horizon’s VVX411 units would be coming to their end of sale by January 2020. This was then extended to the end of February, with the VVX450 being brought in as the VVX411’s official replacement.

If you think your business will require the VVx411 beyond the end of February, we advise that you plan to purchase stock soon and self-store the devices ahead of this final deadline.
