Modern slavery and human trafficking continue to be a tragic reality within modern society. Gamma has a zero-tolerance approach to both modern slavery and human trafficking within its supply chain.
This statement explains the approach we take to monitoring and preventing it within our supply chain.
Gamma predominantly sells communications services within the UK to businesses. In order to do so it purchases equipment, software and services from a wide range of suppliers. Many of these items are high-tech and provided by UK or global companies.
Gamma conducts a regular risk assessment of the different types of supply so as to identify where there is the greatest risk of modern slavery or human trafficking being involved. For instance the supply of telecommunications software is considered low risk; and the supply of low-value equipment which may have been manufactured in low wage economies is considered to be higher risk.
For the types of supply to Gamma considered at the higher end of the risk scale then Gamma requires evidence from the relevant suppliers that they have detailed written policies and effective procedures in place to control the risk of modern slavery and human trafficking down their own supply chain.
