Thames Valley Business of the Year Award 2016
Gamma was awarded the Business of Year Award at this year’s Thames Valley Business Magazine Awards. The awards were held on 17th November at the Madjeski Stadium in Reading and were hosted by Gyles Brandreth; a writer, broadcaster, former MP and Government whip.
The Business of the Year Award category was open to every company in the Thames Valley area and recognised not only profitability, innovation and employment but also the contribution made to the local economic community and the provision of support to culture and charities in the region.
Tim Clark, Pitmans Litigation Partner said: "Pitmans was delighted that this award was presented to Gamma. In addition to its continued success, Gamma demonstrated excellent customer service and innovation to improve the customer experience and to make Gamma easier for its partners to do business with. Pitmans is also particularly impressed with Gamma’s dedication to the development of its people and its real commitment to engaging with the local community. In a highly competitive category Gamma was a worthy winner of the Pitmans Business of the Year Award for 2016."
Pitmans managing partner John Hutchinson also added: "Our winner has invested substantially in innovative new product development, created 200 jobs in the past two years, and has increased its share price by over 150% in the same period. It is truly an outstanding success story."
Pam Williams, HR Director at Gamma commented: "At Gamma, we care a lot about our colleagues, our customers and those in our community. We are fully committed to the Best Companies’ model of employee engagement and everyone works hard to continuously improve employee engagement.
