Gamma, a next generation network operator and one of the UK's
largest providers of telecoms services and related applications
turned 10 last week! Staff at the company celebrated across each of
its six sites with a champagne lunch and cake.
Formed in 2001, Gamma originally started out as a fixed line
network operator selling calls and lines and the company has since
led the way in other services including the UKs leading SIP
trunking and Hosted services; the first business MVNA service in
the UK with their network partner Vodafone; and has effectively
become an ISP delivering broadband and other business grade data
services over their network.
Gamma's channel focussed business model and introduction of
innovative new services into the market has enabled the company to
grow rapidly to become one of the leading carriers in the UK. Today
Gamma supports over 550 channel partners and carry around 13% of
the UK's business telephony.
