Channel partners become Mobile MVNOs

Press release 28/07/2011

Gamma Telecom has today launched their new mobile service, enabling 35 existing channel partners to become Mobile Virtual Network Operators (MVNOs).

Earlier this year, Gamma signed a Mobile Virtual Network Aggregator (MVNA) deal with Vodafone UK, enabling Gamma to help its channel partners to leverage the capabilities of the UK's best network.

Under the new service, Gamma enables its channel partners to become full MVNOs and gives them full control of the mobile service for their customers by giving them tariff flexibility and true customer ownership under their own brand.

The service is delivered through Gamma's portal alongside Gamma's other fixed line services giving channel partners full control over the converged fixed and mobile service offering to its business customers.

Rob Davis, Head of Mobile Services at Gamma said, "There has been a significant amount of interest in our mobile proposition since the announcement of our MVNA with Vodafone and we've been working closely with both new and existing partners to get them ready for launch. We're positioned well for migrating our existing customer base as well as significant growth from the new partners we're currently signing up."

"Gamma has been instrumental in helping set us up for the new mobile service," commented Christian Nellemann, Group CEO, XLN Ltd. "We're looking forward to offering our customers the benefits this excellent new service offers which is backed by a high quality network, Gamma's excellent back-end systems and our leading customer service."

Nick Parbutt, Director of Wholesale at Vodafone UK said, "Since we won Gamma as a partner we have been working very closely supporting them to launch. We are really excited to see them launch and look forward to continuing our support to allow them, and their resellers, to be successful."
