The role reports to the Head of Sales, Gamma Network Solutions and is home based. Candidates should be based in the central belt of Scotland and available to travel (potentially nationwide) to visit customer sites and other Gamma Group offices on occasion.
The purpose of the role is to fulfil three primary objectives:
- Sell end-to-end managed communication services to the enterprise
- Maintain and manage internal and external relationships, as required to effectively meet the requirements of the role
- Contribute to the growth of the business
Key responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
- Identify, target and sign contracts with new customers
- Create and maintain an over-target sales pipeline
- Negotiate contracts in order to ensure best value to Gamma Network Solutions, as directed by senior management
- Maintain excellent relations with all Key Internal Stakeholders
- Run customer opportunities in a professional manner at all times
- Ensure that the Gamma Network Solutions proposition is properly presented
- Build relationships at multiple layers within each customer prospect
- Maintain an awareness of the prevailing UK market conditions and competitive landscape and exploit any opportunities arising from this knowledge

This is a targeted sales role which will be measured on monthly and quarterly intervals against the targets set. Commission payment is dependent on targets being met. This role requires a commercially astute, articulate candidate, who will be perceived as a skilled business partner, rather than a “sales person”.

- Ensure all faults are progressed & cleared within SLA – escalating to other internal and external teams as required
- Keep customers regularly updated during the period of their open fault
- Provide notice of any expected service disruption to customers
Order placement and provisioning
- Place product orders using a variety of internal and external systems
- Clearly communicate timelines for provision to customers
- Jeopardy manage provision activities to ensure actioned within SLA
- Clearly communicate progress to the customer throughout the process

Customer Query resolution
