Pricing Analyst

Pricing is a technically complicated and vital part of the telecoms industry, and this role is one of the key areas of the business. It would suit someone looking for their first role in a finance environment.

Core activities will relate to pricing, but there is a good chance that the successful candidate will be asked to work on billing and revenue assurance activities as well. Duties include:

  • Assisting with monthly bill runs
  • Answering customer billing and pricing queries
  • Working with other areas of the business, particularly the sales teams, to resolve pricing issues
  • Checking and loading price proposals submitted by the sales team
  • Analysis of pricing decisions and analysing our cost base
  • Performing other ad-hoc billing / pricing activities, analysis and problem solving.

The successful candidate will have an ambition to build a career in a financial environment. He or she will have a preference for performing detailed work, a strong interest in systems and processes and will enjoy problem solving, taking the initiative, and driving solutions through to a successful conclusion.   • Will either be working across many small projects at the same time, or on one large project.

Team Supervisor

  • Provide performance feedback and development to address any gaps in reaching quantitative or qualitative targets within the team
  • Perform  weekly quality checking
  • Maintain team documentation e.g. processes, training material

Service Improvement 

  • Responsible for identifying gaps in agent performance
  • Responsible for measuring impact of any gaps

Reporting:

  • Collate/ monitor daily, weekly and monthly figures

Customer Satisfaction

  • Identify potential churn risks, escalate accordingly into account management teams
